In 2011 we donated copies of our book to Atin Afrika in Uganda. Atin runs a transitional home for street children in Lira, Northern Uganda. They employ a full time social worker and a full time teacher to support the emotional and educational needs of the children, bridging the gap between the streets and home. Atin Afrika facilitates the transition back into education and the family. Chelsea Peters, one of the founders of Atin, thought the book would be a great teaching tool to use at the Atin house. This is Zubedah and Joel looking at Teaching Parents How To Teach.
